Our Land, Our Future is a documentary web series created by Mamawewin Productions and Kiciwapa Cree Nation. Through storytelling, land-based footage, and community truth-telling, the series shares who we are, where we come from, and the future we are building across KCN territory.

MOVING FORWARD
Our Land, Our Future continues to grow from the relationships, conversations, and experiences shared in Episode 1.

The response from community members, partners, and others who have engaged with the project has shown the importance of creating space to share real stories about how engagement happens in practice — on the land and in relationship with one another.

As this work moves ahead, the next phase of filming is planned to begin in early March. Future episodes will continue to follow ongoing work on Kiciwapa Cree Nation territory, guided by community values, lived experience, and respect for the land.
