Kiciwapa Cree Nation and EarthEx Geophysical Solutions Sign Indigenous Participation Management Plan

Kiciwapa Cree Nation (KCN) is pleased to announce the signing of an Indigenous Participation Management Plan (IPMP) with EarthEx Geophysical Solutions, marking a significant step toward meaningful collaboration and Indigenous inclusion in geophysical and mineral exploration projects.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing reconciliation through trust, respect, and transparency. Under the IPMP, KCN will play a direct role in supporting EarthEx’s various projects by providing skilled talent from within the Nation, assisting with onboarding and recruitment, and contributing to business development efforts across the North.

A ceremonial gathering was held to mark the occasion, where symbols of mutual respect were exchanged. KCN received a commemorative plaque from EarthEx, inscribed with the words: "Committed to Indigenous participation through partnerships rooted in trust, respect, and transparency." In turn, KCN presented EarthEx with a carved wolf statue; a traditional and powerful animal within Cree culture, symbolizing guidance, unity, and protection.

This agreement represents more than just a business arrangement; it reflects a pathway toward economic empowerment, capacity building, and shared prosperity rooted in cultural values and community priorities.
